Results Day...

Evening my lovely North East Siders.. what a great day for results.. and gossip.


Results day, a time for scramble. Our summer is measured by that one day in the year where it can be great, or not so much. Have our precious Elite done as well as they'd hoped?


Sources tell me the word Pass is a regular occurance throughout the results transcipts today. I guess I should give my congratulations to whom it's due to. At least I know I've an Elite to talk about some September. I was actually beginning to panic!


Results day wouldn't be perfect without a dropout or two. Last year we had a few fallen angels that were missed greatly. But for some reason, I'm pretty sure this latest dropout won't be so missed.

I am here to report that I has left the wonderland for good! There had been talks of her moving before the end of the year but as always, our Elite believed none of it. We can't blame them though, it's not like I was known for her extreme truth telling. What we are still uncertain over is why she left. Some believe it was down to her lack of interest in her course. Others say it was down to her failing everything.

Choose what you want to believe, but what I say is simple.. people will do anything to hide from their scandal.

We've heard that she's now living in Dublin and is not training to be an air hostess with Ryanair. Ring any bells?! Yes, you're right.. we've heard this all before from another mad Irishwoman. You all remember J right?! Well, she too left Uni to live the 'dream' of becoming an air hostess with Ryanair. We all know the drama that happened last year between I and J, so with both of them being back in a city together.. we can just imagine drama at its highest!!


So a little message to I.. you may run, but no-one hides from ggNE. Sooner or later.. I will find you. Gossip never sleeps.

Summer in the Kingdom

Well hello there my lovely North East Siders.. have you missed me?! I know you have!


Just when you thought that Summer meant a few months gossip-free.. you surely are mistaken. Because whether it is term time or not, there is always gossip to be found and well, we all know that your beloved gossipgirlNE never ever sleeps!


Summer is a very exciting time regardless of what you think. Okay, so our Sunderland Uni Elite may be spending their time away apart but that just means more gossip to be shared! Over the next few months, we will be keeping up to date with the lives of our most beloved Elite. Lets give you a few updates.


Our very own Queen L is still ruling the 23 Kingdom. M has gotten her own Wonderland Kingdom of her own, with her man and ofcourse little L is not too far away. Our wonderful S is living the highlife back in Shieldsland and I hope it's as dramafilled as we expect.


Our biggest piece of drama to leave the Wonderland so far is based on darling T. He shook the land with an announcement that him and his 'beloved' B are no more. Rumour has it that this announcement didn't go down too well with B. She has been rumoured to be running amok through the streets of Wonderland with any boy that will have her. A bit messy no doubt! Lets just say September is going to be interesting!



As we know, Princess A has left Wonderland behind for the summer and is back in her Kingdom. We heard she was hoping for a relaxing few months but it looks like this girl takes the drama with her. I'd like to wish her a Happy Birthday for Tuesday past. As the tradition has already been set, a Princess Birthday Party is meant to be like no other and we knew A wouldn't disappoint. With Queen L making a cameo like no other, the weekend was set. Did someone say fancy dress?! Surely that's only meant to happen in the Wonderland.


But what seemed like a night to remember turned quickly into what seemed like a nightmare. Was that tears I noticed flowing down the Birthday Girl's cheeks? Has something or should I say someone upset you A? We believe a certain new wannabe was to blame.. but don't worry, I'll be giving you the lowdown on the new wannabes soon enough.


So here we are, it's approaching July and with the Wonderland fun not kicking off until September again, I must find something to entertain myself with. And what better entertainment that summer gossip... it's hot, it's new, it's scandalous.

On vacation.. don't miss me too much!

Hello my lovely north east siders!

I hope you haven't been pining over me too much, but even a gossip girl has a life to attend to! I'm just here to tell all my faithful readers that I'm taking a little break to concentrate on the things that get me down. Yes, we all know that it is the Uni that hates the gossip I spread as it continues to shower me with assignments! But don't shed any tears, soon enough I will be back with a vengence!

But just a little update on the gossip to keep you all feasting for more:


I is OFFICIALLY off the radar everyone! We've all been dying to know what was going to happen after her battle for the throne with Queen L. It looked like she was back in the midst of things again, pulling the puppet strings with A and even getting back in with the remainder of the group. But we all know that when I gets onto a good thing, she normally screws it up big style. After a night on the tiles with the group, it looked like things were going to be civil between I and L, but I couldn't let it go now could she! Bringing up their past argument in the Bambu Queue (the place where all the madness happens), she was shot down but an obviously angered L. Good for you L, you didn't have to stand there and listen to that! I disappeared soon after and happyness was restored once again, but for how long?

Yes, I never seems to realise when to stop with her reign of terror. I'm beginning to wonder what exactly is her game plan? Is she purposely trying to wreck lives and cause chaos or is it all just misunderstanding after the next? It seems like it has been just too much for A to take though. Spotted in the Spider the Sunday after the Bambu Queue incident, this time I was seen coming to blows with A. Why do you take this A? This ain't the first time she has tried to use bullying tactics to get her way!! Poor little A, so naive. Well, we are just happy you have finally came to your senses!

Two weeks ago, Bambu the setting. Ladies toilets to be precise. A and Queen L, head to head with the Witch herself. Silence between L and I obviously. But with A and I? Say it aint so? Rumour has it an argument broke out via text message hours previously, resulting in this tension. All we know is that it didn't stop there. A was seen angered at obvious texts on her phone. Could they have been from I? Getting something off you chest that you couldn't say in the loos I? All we know is that Bambu past, their paths crossed again... and once more, no words were spoken. Could this be the end of the drama? You know I'll be on the ball if it isn't.

More top Gossip.. I'm sorry to inform all the ladies out there.. but it looks like T is off the market. Who's the lucky girl you ask? We know her as B, friend of A. They seem happy.. and no drama as of yet. But I will keep my eyes peeled.

Rumours are flying about two professors having a secret affair?! Could this be the next best thing since M and Z of last year?! Is it really who everyone says it is? You are just dying to know aren't you? Unfortunately, I am not licenced to tell.. not until more facts come into play.

Speaking of secret affairs.. to the naked eye, it looks as if the professors aren't the only ones getting in on the act. Two students have been spending a little too much time together and it's not going un-noticed by their classmates. We're under the impression they're both taken... or are they 'taken' by each other?! They better be careful though, I'm never too far behind a scandal!

Lil N is single again gents so start queueing in an orderly fashion!! Who was the guy she was dating anyway? Rumour has it he was a total loser anyway so lil N, take it from me.. you're better off shot of him! How stupid has he to A) string you and his ex along and B) lie about it. Lets hope he gets what's coming to him!!


I think that is pretty much everything my darling North East Siders! I know it has been too long but what can I say? It's been too busy and too dramatic!! I will try to update you on all the scandalous moments of our NESiders but the Uni is still hell bent on punishing the GossipGirls of this world... That still doesn't stop us partying till we drop and gossiping until we cannot stop!

Varsity this week... how could I miss the scandal that is bound to unfold!!

Bursting Bubbles..

Hello my lovely North East Siders... I'm hoping you've had a great weekend away from the prying eyes of gossipgirlNE. I'm also hoping you've all been good little North East Siders.. last thing I want is someone picking up on scandal that I wasn't around to see first! It's been a bit of a hectic weekend for your favourite gossip girl so apologies for no updates.. I know you have been just dying to know the goings on from Halls V Halls night at Bambu. You know I'm not one to dissapoint!

One thing I must say before we begin.. Are my North East Siders going soft?! It has been almost 4 weeks since you've all been out together. I'm beginning to get slightly worried about my gossip.. afterall, a group that has scandal together, stays together! A Wednesday night without M and little N?! Did we think it was possible? I guess it is, for the group ventured into the wild without their most needed tour guides.. good thing they weren't up against anything major.. or were they?

I could tell this was going to be a Wednesday night like past times when spotted leaving the borough were our lovely North East Siders. Surely that was never going to be a good sign! What did we have here though? A newbie?!! Oh how I love newbies!!! After long snooping, I believe our newcomer is Miss S, a long term friend of our Queen L. Any friend of L is obviously a friend of mine. Welcome to the game Miss S.. we hope to hear more of you.

Arizona got it's fair share of the antics when nothing but torpedos is in play. Surely our little lambs would take their past experiences into account. Borough Bombs and torpedos in quick sucession calls in early disaster. Spotted walking, or should I say stumbling, towards TTonic were our group, with A tagging behind with Mr S and L. They should learn to keep up. But poor A, I must say I did feel sorry for her. Spotted buying a treble and coke and forced to down it not long later, it was obvious that this was her downfall. Don't worry A, you may not remember much after that.. but that is where I come in.

Tears and Tantrums.. Dances and Giggles.. Ups and Downs.. Smiles and Frowns.. We all believe a night can go either end of the seesaw.. it just takes the right push from the right.. or should I say wrong person. We're used to the tears of A, but what was the reason this time? Well we can't blame you.. we know who you seen streaking for their Halls.. were they tears of realisation and horror? Ha, ofcourse they were. We couldn't help but notice the old acquaintance and cheered you right up A... we'd rather see you giggle than cry any day.

What seemed like a drunken night with no events took a turn for the extremely better. Thankyou chillinos for supplying my lovely North East Siders with their takeaways for I might not have been able to get my gossip fix. Spotted head to head with another bloke was T (who was been extremely quiet recently), over something we couldn't quite pick up on. We're hoping more comes to light though. All we know, or seen at least, was that it was enough to get the Queen L herself angered. It must have been something. A ofcourse found herself in the middle. You know that other bloke don't you A? Do you know something we dont?

She must have as she was spotted fleeing from Chillinos a few moments later, quickly followed by T. Finding themselves in Bravo, the night hadn't ended just yet. T was on a roll so it seemed. Head to head with another random again, it was a full on word war in Bravo, T and at least 3 others.. with A in the middle once again. There must be something about A.. confrontation is never far behind.

As you can see my darlings.. what is a night without a little drama.. it keeps us on our toes afterall. I was told this evening, to my shock and horror, that monday night might not be on the cards?!!! Are we really loosing our touch?! I'm beginning to wonder whether I'm following the right group of Sunderland Uni Elite.. there might be better scandal elsewhere. I've a few things to ponder.. lets just hope my North East Siders come up with the goods and prove their loyalty.

The Princess is back?!

Once upon a time, there was a Princess who lived a life of happyness and comfort in her Kingdom. Having everything she ever wanted, it was hard enough to believe that the Princess would ever want to leave her Kingdom. But life was not all it was cracked up to be , so the Princess hop, skip and jumped her fairytale but to the Wonderland, where all madness began.



We can all only imagine what our little Party Princess was like before the influences of Wonderland but one thing is for certain for A, our Wonderland has definately been an experience to remember. We all have a fair idea of the antics of A of last year, rumours have a way of making themselves known. For all who haven't had a sample of the juicy details, that's a shame.. there are a few good ones. But tales of long ago are not the reason for my blog, for when we believed that our little Party Princess had retired her crown to settle for a life of slight sensibility, 2008 is a year to tell us differently.

Spotted at Park Lane metro station on Saturday night was an independant A. There I was thinking I'd have a weekend off. It's been a long time since A took it to the weekend. We tried to keep our eye on our Party Princess, but she was just too hard to tame. She was spotted taxi jumping with I and a familiar face.. was that queue boy? Couldn't be!

Is the A of old back in our midst? All night random parties at random locations with random people becoming the trend once again?

We always expect our lovely North East Siders to be out enjoying the delights of a Monday. However, it was without S it seemed. Oh no S, don't tell me you're losing it already? And you are one of the more entertaining ones. Alas, the show must go on. Our girls and T seemed to be enjoying the festivities a little too much. Spotted as the last few to leave Arizona, I expected our delightfuls to hop to the taxi queue instead of the Point queue.

We have all been wondering if Saturday night was just a slip up for our Party Princess. Has she really got back to her winning ways or is she trying to leave the past in the past? Our questions were answered within a shocking 5 minutes of arriving. Spotting having a rather competitive game of tennis on the dance floor, A and well, we know who it was... fortunately for you A, we believe the world shouldn't know.. especially a certain girl upstairs. Sort yourself out hun, he is NOT glamourous.

The one thing I must ask the lovely North East Siders? What was up with T? Disappearing acts are for magicians! Why was he bouncing off so often? And more importantly.. where was he bouncing off to?! And leaving point half an hour after the girls, is there something you ain't telling us T? I hate when secrets are kept from me!

All in all, apart from the obvious factor that we believe that the Party Princess is back to herself again, scandal was at a disappointing low. We're hoping that our lovely North East Siders will not disapoint tonight. Rumour has it S is back in the fold.. making up for lost time we hope!

Give me something darlings.. Scandal should be scared.. we all know that!!

TOGA TOGA!

How are we my lovely North East Siders? Were we feeling a little bit of a suicide Thursday today.. ofcourse. Ain't anything better. Bambu on a Wednesday has that effect.

Spotted in Arizona were our lovely ladies, Togaing it up with S. But where was T? Not feeling festive were we T? He'll be watched more carefully next time. How many bottles were needed, surely not that many. L torpedoing like a pro, this was destined for a night to be remembered.

A was already feeling the heat of TTonic as she was spotted knocking a full glass of treble vodka and coke over, splashing M and little N in the process. Surely A needed to be careful, the night was still young. But surely enough these girls were out to paint the town red as M and little N had already lured three unsuspecting boys in their direction, with L looking like a little fish in a flirtatious pond wishing for A and S to come to her rescue.

Not even in Bambu and things were starting to boil over. Spotted in the Bambu Queue, L giving a random rugby guy a fierce shouting at for pushing her. Don't worry L, we don't blame you. Rumour has it that guy needs a smack. We wish it would have been you! All the commotion left one of the group behind. Spotted was A alone in the queue. But she didn't seem too worried though, rumour has it being surrounded by guys is her favoured situation. Did I see numbers being exchanged A? And did I see him pay you in? Something we need to know?

With plenty of cocktails being purchased, we only expected this night to be a messy one and we are glad to inform you that we were not disappointed. A night spent in the r&b room kept our lovely north east siders entertained. M and little N were kept occupied by their prince charmings, leaving A, L and S to it. Who was that you were dancing with A? We know that familiar face!! And L, we're pretty sure you won't stop until that Halloween Cheerleader is taken care of!! L was not happy with this Cheerleader's way of thinking. Sorry hun, but Cheerleaders don't get special treatment in this world... bounce off before L kills you with your very own Pom Poms!!

How you measure a good night is simple.. if it ends in the Spider, then it is a great night. Spotted upstairs were our down and outs, practically dead on a sofa. Had too much? My heart goes out to you all. But why so glum A? Looks like our princess wasn't so happy with what S had to offer. After S handed her a menu, she quickly threw it in the opposite direction. Heard from the other side of the room: "I'm Irish, not stupid!" We know that's true A. Seen getting turnt away from Chilinos were cold A and S. Lets hope they found some food in the end. We all know how a takeaway makes the night complete.

Not a bad night for our lovely North East Siders with plenty of questions still needing to be answered. And where was I? We were all looking forward to a repeat performance of Monday night! Maybe some other night because you know I never disappoint when it comes to un-ravelling a new scandal.

A little red faced?

Spotted: Mr A was seen walking through the Bridges this afternoon looking a little red faced. Why so flustered A? Many might think it's due to a small shade of embarrassment over his team's result but gossipgirlNE thinks differently. Is there not a tanning booth near by? Topping up on the colour were we?! Who knows. One thing's for sure... a colour like that will stand out amongst the other North East Siders.

Big night tonight at Bambu. Ofcourse I'll be there, will you be? I might see you there. We all like a little scandal on our Wednesdays.
